Though the studio is the team effort of a group of young, energetic specialists, Vijayan is the driving force behind its success. Yes, he is the face of 'Creative Studio.' A man with more than a decade of rich experience in this field.

Vijayan began his illustrious career as a designer-cum-webmaster with the leading Tamil weekly, Kumudam. He was instrumental in designing and launching www.kumudam.com. Not one to restrict himself to a single genre, Vijayan quit the job to start his own design outfit 5 years ago. The decision was born out of his need to experiment with various opportunities in design, and today Creative Studio is breaking new ground in the world of design.

Aside of his various work-related achievements, Vijayan takes the credit for conducting Chennai's first exhibition dedicated to book covers called Dream Scape 2007. It silently spoke volumes for Vijayan and Creative Studio and the collective creative spirit. The three-day exhibition conducted at C.P. Art Gallery generated widespread interest among writers, designers and intellectuals.

Recently, during the annual Chennai Book Fair of BAPASI, Vijayan's Creative Studio created a sensation by designing all the publicity materials of the book fair. Inspired by the creative work exhibited by Vijayan at the exhibition, the 100-year-old reputed Tamil publisher, Alliance has offered him an exciting opportunity to design covers for 200 books.
